Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on the 31st of January 1974. She is best known as Bo in the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was created at Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay who is producer and director of the drama at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. The father of Silk, Peter, was an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her earliest memories of life, including taking part in rehearsals of shows. Silk played a role as a young model in a commercial. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced at least Two early productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto Canada in the month of November of 1999, to keep acting. Then she moved to Los Angeles California during the subsequent decade. Seth Cooperman was her future husband when she was introduced to him at an Actors' Workshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. In 2009, they were wed in civil ceremonies in the month of December. Following her conversion to Judaism the couple renewed their wedding vows at a Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011 in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman's son was born May 2013, a son called Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Her second son Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk's television work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009, she was cast as the main role of Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant while filming of the final season episode. She announced the pregnancy to viewers of the show during a Showcase preview of the Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. On June 4 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the start of production on the fourth season. On June 20, 2013 Silk tweeted that she was ready to the set of the show. The CNN Cable News Network named her performance as Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples as one of their most-loved television Couples. E! named the couple as the top TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk's growth has brought an extensive online presence through social networks.
